The Centre of Hope’s Third Annual Moonlight Classic

INSPIRING HOPE IN THE ART   ART has the ability to inspire reflection, expression, understanding, and most importantly, HOPE.  The Centre of Hope in collaboration with Arts Council Wood Buffalo, “I am a person first” Stigma Reduction Program, and Northern Lights Health Foundation invites you to participate in HOPE IN THE ART on Monday, May 26, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Keyano Art Gallery.  This interactive creative reflection will officially kick off Homelessness Awareness Week in Wood Buffalo.   Visual artists of all kinds are invited to display two-dimensional artworks that explore the themes of what homelessness means to them and …

Hope in the Dark Presented by ATCO GAS

We hope you can make it out to Hope in the Dark event on May 31st, 2014.  This event is in support of the Centre of Hope and is about raising awareness of homelessness in our community. We invite members of our municipality to give up their beds for one night of sleeping rough. A Thank you to our Volunteers

Each year the Centre of Hope is blessed with so many fantastic volunteers. Individuals that give selflessly of their evenings and their early mornings to assist the Centre of Hope events and our intake program. 8th Annual KD Gala

3rd Annual Subzero Challenge is a Success!

$30,000.00 Below ZERO; Help the Centre of Hope Heat The Streets On December 01st 2013 the Centre of Hope launched it’s 3rd Annual Subzero Challenge: $30,000 Below Zero. We were hoping to raise $30,000 by March 01st 2014 to purchase much needed warm winter clothing for our patrons. $42,269.66 was what we raised through our 3rd Annual Subzero Challenge.
