Tree of Hope
Tree of Hope represents Hope ~ Strength ~ Resiliency ~ Celebration
This holiday season, we are offering a unique opportunity to support our most vulnerable population with a $5 donation to let up the Tree of Hope on winter solstice, December 21st. As winter solstices marks the longest night of the year for our homeless to survive the winter elements alone. Money raised will go towards Centre of Hopes programing and services.
The holiday season can mark the hardest time of year for our patrons who are experiencing homelessness in our community. The tree of HOPE is a visible reminder to our community that Christmas is a time of generosity, fellowship and demonstrates communities support for Centre of Hope. Opportunity to spread compassion to those in need symbolizes their strength and courage to repeat their day in darkness, loneliness, while being homeless.
Companies can participate with a small donation to light this beautiful tree by December 21st, which is on display at Centre of Hope at 1 McLeod Street throughout the holiday season.
Join us for the lighting ceremony on December 21st at 3:00pm
