The entire Centre of Hope Team have a passion to bring about change in the lives of every patron who accesses our agency. We are invested in growing our skills and knowledge so that we can be strong professional agents of change for the homeless. We strive to be advocates for the homeless in the community. We value the inherit dignity and worth of every single individual who enters our doors and becomes part of the Centre of Hope family. We demand that every individual who comes to the Centre is treated with respect.

Centre of Hope is Fort McMurray’s only daytime drop-in centre for those in our region living in homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. In addition to meeting our patrons’ immediate daily needs, the Centre of Hope assist each patron that accesses our agency in moving forward towards independence and self-sufficiency. 2020 Centre of Hope moved our daily operations to the Marshall Street location, which houses the below programs. Linda Haggarty Bio Team Lead at the Drop. I moved From BC in May of 2010, I started working at the Centre of Hope in Oct of 2012. I worked in the Intake program for 6 months then moved to the Outreach Program For approx. 6 yrs and then became a team lead of the Intake and Outreach teams a little over 4yrs ago

Jennifer is a leading team member with COH since 2010. Originally from Newfoundland and Labrador, where she obtained a Community Studies Diploma and worked in correctional sector for more then 12 years.

Sandria Moved to Fort McMurray from Jamica in 2013 and acquired Social Work Diploma at our local Keyano College. She has been a team member since 2018, working in our housing programs
