4th Annual SubZero Challenge: $40,000 BELOW ZERO

$40,000.00 Below ZERO; Help the Centre of Hope Heat The Streets

On December 01st 2014 the Centre of Hope launched it’s 4th Annual Subzero Challenge: $40,000 Below Zero. We hope to raise $40,000 by March 01st 2014 with all proceeds going towards our Extended Hours Program. This program is crucial to the Centre of Hope as it allows us to stay open and provide much needed services on weekends and holidays.

Last year with the amazing efforts put in by our Region:

$42,269.66

was what we raised for warm winter clothing through our 3rd Annual Subzero Challenge. THANK YOU FORT MCMURRAY!!!!

Here are some other ways you can give:

This year we are a member agency for the National Awareness Campaign “Raise the Roof”. This means we are selling the very stylish Raise the Roof Toques for $10.00 to help support Homelessness Awareness locally AND Nationally. A big thank you to the FMPSD and the FMCSD who are encouraging school participation for Toque Tuesday. THANK YOU

  • 9th Annual Ride for Hope. Organized by Ken Khran and Hanz Zundel. Click here for the Fb page(January 15/16th 2015).
  • 24 Hours for #SubzeroYMM. “snow Caves” will be constructed on Gregoire LAke to raise awareness and funds(January 31st 2015) Click here to donate or support a member. Email Barb events@fmcentreofhope.com for more details.
  • “Toque Tuesday” Across Canada supporters will be wearing Raise the Roof Toques to raise funds and awareness of homelessness. We will be selling these throughout the Subzero challenge with special presentations within the FMPSD and the FMCSD to involve youth.(Feb 03rd 2015) Click HERE for more information
